Stream Bank Stabilization
Beautiful native plant species from Twin Peaks Native Plant Nursery, located in Lake Fork, were planted as part of a North Fork Payette River bank stabilization project with support from a IDEQ/EPA water quality grant. These seedlings will anchor soil along the banks, which helps to prevent streambank erosion and excess sediment loading. Many thanks to our Saturday planting volunteers from Valley County Idaho FIsh and Game and the Trout Unlimited Reed Gillespie Chapter.
